Voice of Hope FM hosted their Birthday on 15 December 2018 at St.Mark School in Mbombela. This event was not just to celebrate their 2nd year birthday but to also appreciate all their supporters. Pastor Luke Lunga the Managing Director started by thanking God in a hymn “AkanayoInjabhiso” which means he is faithful, saying that he thank God for his grace that has kept them up to this far. “We appreciate all the stakeholders of the station (the pastors, community, listeners, sponsors, advertisers) for their support to the station, He added.

“Just in this period of 2 years we have seen the mighty hand of God working wonders, we see a greater growth of the station in terms of listenership, improvement of studio equipments, and personal improvement of our team. I pray that God may bless all those who work tirelessly for the progress of this work, without this wonderful team I wouldn’t have made it alone” he added.

Pastor Luke Lunga also took this opportunity on behalf of Voice of Hope FM social department to give out food parcels to “ogogo” the old ladies and the Christmas parcels to children from the underprivileged communities.

The event was graced by the presence of many people from different parts of Mpumalanga and Swaziland. Apostle Gule from Swaziland shared the word of God.  And among the performers was Mdlali the poet, the Evangelist Poet, Donny Ngwenya, and Phumzile.
